Glory To Glory

A Message To Christian Business Owners

This blog post is going to be a little different from what I normally post. It is not another business 101 or a website tips, but a moment of transparency about something that I believe a lot of Christian business owners and Kingdom entrepreneurs have faced at some point in their careers. I don’t even know if there is even a name for it, but it is that feeling that you get when you are so close but yet it feels so far away. It is the moments of reassurance that God gives you that you’re on the right track, as you follow the path that He has set before you followed by the feeling of exhaust and frustration as you still have yet to reach your goal.

Truth is, this is a natural part of life as we grow. 2 Corinthians 3:18 tells us that we go from glory to glory. This means that we are continually changing. This scripture refers to conforming more and more into the image and likeness of God, but the same can be applied in the growth of our business. You would think that in all of our efforts, we would eventually make it and that would be that, but God did not give us the vision for a business just so that we can reach one goal and stay there. The purpose goes beyond a single goal, and in order to fulfill that purpose, there has to be constant movement. In a sense, you should never be satisfied; be grateful, but never settle.

Change and challenges are inevitable as we grow our business and success is an ongoing process as we go from glory to glory.

It may take some time, but with consistent action, you will see the fruit of your labor. When you think about it, you are already seeing the fruit, it just may not be ripened and ready to pick as of yet. When the season comes, you will be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Remember your hard work and sacrifice is preparation so that you can hold on to and fully enjoy the blessing when you reach your goals. Stay patient and keep pushing. Once you have reached your first set of goals, be prepared to set more that are even higher. You cannot stop, because your success is not just for you.
