J.H Johnson Pallet Co, now Corban Pallet Solutions was a new, start-up business that delivers and removes reusable pallets. The company also provides a haul off services for non-reusable pallets as well as other shipping containers and dunnage. The company strives to become a partner in their client’s success by helping them maintain a safe and clean work environment and eliminating the stress of the responsibility of removing and dumping heavy pallets and shipping containers.
Corban Pallet Solutions (J.H Johnson Pallet Co) needed a way to advertise and present information about the services that they offer both online and offline. Being a start-up company, there was no current online presence or any resource that could be used when soliciting new customers. The company required a website design and a flyer design that looked professional but not too flashy in order to appeal to their target market; the goal was to look professional yet affordable.
We began the process with a discovery session in order to establish the goal and the target market. By doing so, it allowed me to create a website design that would appeal to the target audience and help the company reach the intended goal of the site. I developed a mock-up website design for the site and upon approval of the design, I developed a flyer with a cohesive design to help establish brand recognition.
I reviewed the content and advised on edits and the addition of keywords that would help with SEO and highlight what the target audience will be looking for. I developed a single-page, scroll site, or landing page that emphasized the company’s services and mission; which was not just to sell a service but to help solve a problem. The site features a custom contact form that allows potential customers to contact the company, by providing information necessary to receive a quote for service. This site was the perfect starter the company needed to get their feet off the ground. The owner has since gained a partner and changed the name of the company; I worked with the owners to make the necessary changes to their website and marketing materials to reflect the changes made. The company has grown and has successfully gained clients.
