The Unstoppable Mom is a ministry that offers resources and a community of support to moms; giving them an outlet and encouragement to reignite their purpose and passions. Their mission is to help every mom see her worth, her beauty and her strength and to see that she is unstoppable.
The Unstoppable Mom CEO, Cierra was preparing to release her first prayer journal but she was lacking a brand identity. The was also preparing to begin launching and making connections and wanted to have a logo designed. She had previously approached others to help her design a logo but she was not able to come to a design that she felt captured the essence of her brand.
Before designing anything, we had to first define and align her brand’s identity. We scheduled and performed strategy sessions via zoom where we did exercises to define her target audience, goals and brand. By getting a clear understanding of the who, what and why of her brand we were able to create a roadmap for the design.
Unstoppable Mom CEO, Cierra was not sure what she wanted to see in the design, but she knew what she did not want. The logo design for The Unstoppable Mom was a bit of the challenge considering the length of the name. Not wanting to chop up or change the name, I had to develop something that would be balanced visually and have versatility. This challenge became easier once I found the perfect concept for the design.
The concept and inspiration behind the final design was the moon. The moon is global symbol of femininity, and the perfect representation for the Unstoppable Mom. Just like a woman, the moon goes through phases or cycles. Like a mother, if the moon should neglect its God-given nature and responsibility and stops its orbit, it would crush the very souls that depend on it’s light to lead them through the darkness.
I had a phenomenal experience working with SMays Designs. Stephanie delivered exactly what I wanted. She was very patient, creative, and detail oriented. I appreciate her taking the time with me to build on my new brand!
