Overview

 Vee Inspirations is a company that makes custom crochet blankets, scarves and prints with inspirational messages and scriptures. All products are made with love. “Inspiration is necessary to help us combat the negative feelings associated with the many hardships and disappointments that we face on a daily basis.”

The Problem

Vee Inspirations is a start up business and the owner needed a way to promote and sell products online. Her business had no prior web presence; including a website and social media presence and the client needed to establishing both. We needed to produce content and a site that would reflected the feeling of comfort, warmth and peace one would get when using the products.

We started with  defining who the target audience would be and the goals vision for the business. Since the client did not have content for a website, this was our next step. One of the most important aspects of an e-commerce site, are the images of the products. So I scheduled a photo shoot using models that visually represented the target audience, the message and feel that we wanted to portray, and highlight the products. I even participated in modeling some of the products.

The content writing was a collaborative effort. With the client’s written vision, I was able to produce customer-focused copy for the home/landing page. We also worked to produce copy for descriptions of each product that would be provided on the site. 

The Solution

We developed a site that would appeal to both female and male customers. We focused on a design that had a clean layout with an organic feel that highlighted the homemade-with-care quality of the brand but still giving it the essence of a company with a professional, high-end product.
